Meet the Cagle family in North Georgia
In the beginning, which was in 1936, Albert Cagle, age one, arrived in the Hickory Flat community with his family.
Albert's parents, Clayton and Estelle Doss Cagle, bought their farm from Estelle's cousins, the Watkins. Farmer Clayton Cagle raised cotton, did his own blacksmithing, and combined crops for other farmers.

Farm Policies & Safety
This is a working farm and you will see farm equipment here and there. We ask you to please do not climb on any farm equipment or fences.
You will want to be cautious around any machinery, and stay back from moving wagons and tractors.
Because there is a fire risk, we ask that you please do not smoke anywhere on the farm.
Wildlife is common on and around the farm. Please do not disturb bunnies, deer, birds or any wildlife on the farm.
Things you should NOT bring to the farm
Dogs or other pets are not allowed to visit Cagle's Dairy Farm. The only exception is that dogs are allowed to visit (on a leash) during Spring Farm Days. There are lots of animals to see and visit with at the farm, and we guarantee that your doggie will want to hear all about the trip when you get back home. Check in Clayton & Estelle's Country Market for some special doggie treats that you can take back to your pets to help them forget that you abandoned them for the day!
