Cornfield MAiZE Tour:
—Kids can get lost and have fun!
Tours take about 1-1/2 hours
- Highlights: Our MAiZE represents the newest trend in "agri-education" for students and teachers alike. The MAiZE at Hickory Flat is a ten-acre corn field with more than three miles of trails cut into it ... and THAT can be a real challenge. If all of the correct turns and paths are taken, the MAiZE can be walked in 45 minutes, but for most MAiZE-goers it takes about one hour to make their way through the twists and turns!
Lesson Plans and Activities ...
A corn field MAiZE teacher's guide and activity sheets have been created to help teach kids about agriculture before they're exposed to the hands-on experience of the MAiZE. The lesson plans and activities are centered around corn and agriculture so they may become familiar with the information they will be taught about while they are at the MAiZE.Educational Passports ...
When students arrive at the MAiZE they will be given an 'Educational Passport'. Depending on their agriculture knowledge, it will help guide them through the MAiZE on the correct path.Open from 10am-11pm on selected days, the Cagle's Dairy MAiZEs cater to school field trips. We have created an elementary education campaign that includes customized 'ag-in-the-classroom' lesson plans and activity sheets for teachers, plus on-site educational displays.

Perks: Get a free baby pumpkin and/or cotton boll.
